This weekend marks the 7th anniversary of the deadly Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville, VA.
It also marks the second year of Ignite the Right, a project created by anti-fascist researchers intent on identifying participants so they can be held accountable.

Tyler Bradley Dykes was sentenced to 57 months in prison for rioting at J6. He was ID’ed by @SunlightAFA in 2022 as a particpant at UTR.
Since Feb. 2023 the Albemarle County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s office quietly started getting indictments under the burning objects statute against Unite the Right attendees who carried torches and threatened members of the public.
Molly Conger has been publishing research on those charged and has an updated twitter thread on those charged over the last year.
When Ignite the Right launched 2 years ago on the 5th anniversary of the racist-fueled attack at Charlottesville, we did so with the message: “We do not forgive. We do not forget.” That statement remains true and in effect.
